She sold her half of the business in March 2021 to purchase Hemer Funeral Service from Jeff Hemer. Jeff is married to Kathy Hemer, a family nurse practitioner with the Medford Clinic. They dated for 5 years and were married on June 9, 1946; a marriage that lasted nearly 71 years. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stetsonville. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and cheering on the Brewers and Packers. She was a pistol shooting scorer for her husband, and had a love for cats and dogs. Delores was born on December 10, 1932, in Rib Lake, Wisconsin to William and Rose Tilch and attended Rib Lake High School. Following graduation, she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she later met Eugene Kenney and married him on April 28, 1956.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church-Lublin with Father John Schroedel officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 PM on Friday at the Gilman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church in Lublin. His passions were playing pull tabs, watching the Green Bay Packers, Badgers, and any football games to follow his football boards. Lee loved spending time and hanging out with his friends and family, and any extra time he had with his three spoiled grand-dogs; Zeus, Tuck, & Ada. She especially enjoyed her winter get-aways with family to Disney World and to the warm February sunshine of Naples, Florida. Beatrice loved playing cards and board games with her grandchildren and always remembered all their birthdays. Beatrice saw God’s hand in most things and encouraged prayer and rosaries in the face of adversity. Always devoted to her children and grandchildren, she will be greatly missed. Aggie was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church PCCW and also chaired the church Fall Festival for over 20 years. She was a member and an officer of the Dorchester Lioness and Lions Clubs, member of the American Legion Auxiliary and an officer with the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Kathleen was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ogema. Visitation will be on Monday, December 12 from 4-7 pm at the First Lutheran Church in Ogema. Visitation will again be held on Tuesday, December 13th from am with Service beginning at 11 am followed by her burial at Levitt Creek Cemetery in the Town of Hill and a meal at the Church. Weston Charles Rogers, 16, of Medford, town of Browning, died Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was born May 30, 2006 in Spooner to Daniel and Diana Rogers.

On July 9, 1961, Kathleen's older sister Tammy got knocked out of first place (only in dad's eyes) when Kathleen was born to the late Wallace and Audrey Kennedy…followed by Bryan, Mike, Mary,... She enjoyed going out to eat at Paula’s and the Mobil Mart and spending time with her friends and family. After the war, Paul returned to Decatur and the two were married on June 5, 1946. They resided in Decatur where Betty made their home and raised their three children.

The farm was sold in 1976 and they began driving school busses for the School District of Gilman. For many years Katherine drove the “short bus” shuttle for athletes, disabled students and co-op classes at Gilman, Cornell, and Holcomb, WI. In retirement, Delores reveled in adventurous travel, including long road trips with Gene, girls’ trips with her sister Margie, and travel to Japan and the Philippines. Lee had a larger than life personality with his sense of humor and huge heart. He had a gift for meeting and connecting with people instantly, and he would do anything for anyone. • Being the "Crazy Auntie" to all of her nieces and nephews.
